Lexus ES330 & Camry V6 Front Struts And Stabilizer Bar links
This video will show you how I replaced the front struts and stabilizer bar links on a 2004 Lexus ES330 with 160,000 miles. The suspension ride was feeling mushy and getting noisy when driving over rough roads. I highly recommend you replace the stabilizer bar links when replacing struts since they wear out out the same rate as the struts. I used the FCS strut brand as the replacement and have been using them for the last few years with zero problems with no noticeable decline in performance. FCS also comes with a lifetime warranty. I'd say FCS is comparable in quality with Gabriel and Monroe.
My electric tools are all Milwaukee 1/2 and 3/8" and use them extensively to make quick work of all repairs. From 12mm on up, I mostly use my 1/2" impact sockets and 12mm on down 3/8" impact sockets.

Great video. Question. If the crank seal is seated below the face of the cover, will that create a problem, or is it critical to keep it flush with the face of the cover? I noticed an oil passage at the back of the OD for the seal at the 6 o'clock position. I have a feeling if the seal is driven in too far, it will be blocked? Thanks for your help.

How long did the entire job take you? My wife's RX 330 has the same problem and I'm not looking forward to do the job. The car has over 210K miles. It also has a broken cv boot that clicks a little. Not to mention the control arm also looks like it needs replacement. And... the valve covers are leaking oil. I'm sure if I took that to the shop all the repairs will be more than what the car is worth. But the power steering has been leaking like crazy. I'm at a point where I just want to sell the car dirt cheap just to get rid of it.
